Auntie M's Advocacy Project

About The Project

This project began with a simple but life-changing realization: no one was coming to save me.

For a long time, I believed that if I endured enough, worked hard enough, or stayed quiet long enough, someone else would eventually step in and make things right. What I learned instead was that the first person who had to stand up for me was me.

Saving myself was the beginning.

Once I found my voice, something unexpected happened. I started recognizing how many other people were still trapped in silence, doubt, fear, or systems that made them feel small. The same realization that changed my life could change theirs too.

This project exists to help people reclaim their voice, their autonomy, and their power.

Real change doesn’t start with institutions or policies.
It starts when one person decides they are worth protecting.

Be the change you want to see in the world.

The Future

The future of Auntie M’s Advocacy Project is about more than publishing stories online. It is about creating real-world connection through local events, creative outreach, community resources, and products that carry messages of hope, humor, healing, and survival into everyday life.

I plan to build this project through local pop-ups, wellness events, community gatherings, books, stickers, card decks, digital art, and advocacy materials. Some pieces will be serious. Some will be soft. Some will be funny enough to get someone through a terrible day. That matters too.

The dream is simple, slightly ridiculous, and somehow still completely mine: live on stickers and dreams while building something that helps people feel seen.

Every sticker, story, resource page, event table, and creative product is part of the same mission: to share positivity, break silence, reduce stigma, and help fill the gaps in community support systems.

Alongside Auntie M’s Advocacy Project, I am also working toward building Phoenix Rose, a nonprofit concept focused on filling the gaps for youth, families, and underserved community members through practical support, mental wellness education, empowerment tools, and community-centered resources.

Auntie M gives voice. Phoenix Rose is being built to help fill the gaps. Together, they represent the same belief: people deserve support before they fall apart, not only after they have already been forced to survive too much.
